About the event
Mindset Integration Academy, in partnership with Double Creek Assisted Living and Memory Care, is proud to present Little Readers, Big Hearts, a monthly intergenerational reading experience designed to foster meaningful connections between homeschool children and local seniors.
Each event begins promptly at 3:00 PM and lasts approximately one hour. Parents are required to remain present and attentive with their children throughout the duration of the event.
At the beginning of the session, Chef Santoria Quick from Mindset Integration Academy and Mimi Nguyen, the Activities Director at Double Creek Assisted Living, will offer a warm welcome, set the stage, and guide everyone through what to expect from this heartwarming experience.
Children are encouraged to bring their favorite books and will have the opportunity to read their favorite sections aloud to the seniors. If your child does not have a specific book to share, books will be provided at the facility. Please…
